In this facelift variant, apart from Power Train and Drivetrain, not much has not been changed as compared to the previous one. But since the vehicle is a facelift variant so there are a lot of specifications to be talked about. So let’s just look at the specifications of the new Tata Tigor EV:
Tata Tigor EV Dimensions
Talking about the dimensions, the figures are somewhat the same as that of the previous variant. New figures tell us that it has got a length of 3993 m, a width of 1677 mm, and a height of 1532 mm. The wheelbase is about 2450 mm while the wheel size is 14 inches.
It has also got a great ground clearance of 172 mm to tackle the bad roads while the Kerb weight of the vehicle is around 1235 kg. There has been no major change in the dimensions of the vehicle despite the ground clearance and the boot space has been altered due to the different formations of the vehicle.
Aesthetics
The vehicle is going to be available in 3 color variants as Signature Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, and a Dual-tone option which will include Black and Signature Teal Blue.
To distinguish it from the conventional IC engine-operated vehicles, it has got a Blue colored finish under the front headlamps and near to the fog lamps as well. Also, there is EV badging done on the vehicle to make it stand out from the crowd. The alloy wheels have also got that blue-colored EV treatment, which adds a lot to the aesthetics of the vehicle.

Tata Tigor Performance
Packed with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous motor, the EV delivers a power of 74.7 hp and a torque of 170 Nm. The vehicle is a front-wheel-drive layout and can attain a speed of 0-100 kph in just 14.88 s.
This EV feels great in the city but since it has less power on offer, that’s why it lags when compared to the Nexon EV. But, sliding into the Sports mode makes you feel the peak power that the vehicle can offer.
Battery
The very USP of this vehicle is the high voltage ZIPTRON technology, which is also used in the Nexon EV. The new Tigor Ev is packed with a 26 kWh High-Density Lithium-Ion battery. The earlier variant of the vehicle used to offer a 72 V electrical system, which now has been upgraded to 350 V.
The battery pack can be fast charged on a 25 kW DC, which will juice up the vehicle from 0 to 80% in just 65 minutes. While opting for the standard 15 A plug point charger, the vehicle can be fully charged in a total time of 8 hours and 45 minutes. According to ARAI, the range of the vehicle is 306 kM, but on the road, it can be expected to be 180 to 200 Km on a single charge.
Interior
They kept the interior of the vehicle very neat and minimalistic. They equip the dashboard with a 7-inch touchscreen which supports both the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Below the screen, there are AC adjustments options. Apart from all these, there is a Mode selector mode equipped on the center console.
The best thing about the Tigor EV is the blue-colored treatment that sits neatly on the AC vents, seats, instrument panel, etc. The instrument panel has also got the EV theme and also it holds all the essential information about EV. The other best thing about the vehicle is the Harman Kardon sound system, which feels very premium.

Comfort and Space
Talking about the comfort of the vehicle, the vehicle has got a decent head and legroom. Also, the cushioning of the seats is very good at this price point. Since it is an EV so the battery pack has reduced the boot space up to 316 liters. The boot can easily fit the regular-sized tyre irrespective of the reduced boot space.
Safety
Tata Motors have now become a synonym for one of the Safest cars in the market. Like other vehicles, the new Tata Tigor EV has scored 4 stars in the Global-NCAP test.
Tata Tigor EV Price
There are 4 variants on offer which are going to cost between Rs. 12.68 lakh to Rs. 13.88 lakh. This vehicle is going to cost less because of the subsidies offered by the states.
Variants
The new Tigor EV has been launched in three different variants named XE, XM, and XZ+. Apart from these, there is also a dual-tone variant available which makes its place at the top. Basic and safety features are available in all the variants, but what makes them different from each other is the Entertainment options and other Connected features that come with XZ+ and XZ+ dual-tone variants. This feature allows the user to connect the vehicle with the Zconnect App and let them diagnose it.
There is a slight difference in the price of the Nexon EV and Tigor EV but if you are looking for more power, then Nexon EV is the one that you should choose.
