Volvo is the name that comes into the mind while talking about the Safest cars in the world. The Sweden-based company recently unveiled their new Electric vehicle named Volvo C40 Recharge which is an Electric Variant of XC40 Recharge with a new tail-Light design and roofline.
Promising a range of 418 Km range this vehicle is going to be a tough competitor to the Electric Vehicle Giant Tesla. There’s a lot to be talked about in this vehicle so let’s look at the specifications:

Volvo C40 Recharge Form Factor
Build on the CMA platform, the vehicle has got a length of 4,431mm and a width of 2,035mm. The vehicle has got almost the same dimensions as that of XC40 Recharge but C40 Recharge has got a height of 1582mm which is lesser than XC40.

Aesthetics
The C40 derives its design from the XC40 with almost the same dimensions. The front looks the same with a slight change of the newly introduced grille that is available in all the electric vehicles produced by Volvo. At the back, it has got new tail lamps that runs up to the roof.
The EV has got a black-colored coupé roof which makes it shorter than the XC40 Recharge variant. Like every Volvo vehicle, there’s also a proud Volvo branding on the back of the vehicle. Talking about the color variants, it is available in 8 different colors(ranging from Solid, Metallic, and Exclusive). Talking about the wheel size it has two variants as 19″ and 20″ 5-Double scope diamond alloys.

Volvo C40 Recharge Performance
Talking about the performance of the vehicle, it is equipped with a 204 HP Electric motor mounted on each axle which delivers a combined output of 408 HP and a torque of 660 Nm. The vehicle can achieve an acceleration of 0-100kph time in just 4.7 seconds.
Battery and Charging
It has got a 78 kW Lithium-ion battery that offers a range of 418 kM on a full charge. The Vehicle can be Fast charged with a 150 kW DC Fast charger. A fast charger can charge it from 10 to 80% in just 33 minutes.

Interior
The Vehicle has got 100% black leather-free interiors which creates a natural, soothing glow and a contemporary vibe. All the interior parts feel very premium. It has got a massive Touch Screen which has got all the media control features and the AC controls. To conclude, the interior feels premium and the ambiance of the interior makes it feel best in the segment. There are 3 color shades available for interiors.
Volvo C40 Recharge Features
A lot has not been known about the vehicle but the company has revealed some of them. It has got a built-in Google assistant which will give you a premium hands-free experience.
The Massive screen has got all the media controls and all other features like Maps and Navigation. The vehicle is fitted with a premium music system from Harman Kardon which will give you a premium music experience while driving. The steering wheel has also got the essential media and Cruise control options.

Apart from all these, the front of the vehicle has got Pixel Lights which help do not cause visibility problems to other road users. They do this through the use of an 84 Pixel LED in each headlight unit that adapts to traffic in front of the C40 Recharge while continuing to light up the road ahead efficiently. The EV comes with a Four Year Digital package which offers features like:
